Juanita Collins
Training Coordinator, Community Assisted and Supported Living
Juanita is the Training Coordinator for Community Assisted and Supported Living (CASL) in Sarasota, Florida. She is passionate about fostering employee growth, building relationships, enhancing performance and driving organizational success through engaging learning experiences, including Everyone A Leader® embedded training.
In her position with CASL, she designs and implements comprehensive training systems from the ground up, training on electronic health record systems and quality direct client care. She has been a participant in both EAL and EAL with Additional Reflection, and wants to focus on helping all demographics of people in the workplace, when teaching to lead from where you are.
“When I went through the EAL curriculum for the first time, I will never forget the sense of empowerment I felt,” Juanita said. “The principles and tools felt so in line with the values I held within me, and being able to bring them out and sharpen them made me want to learn and be more. Now I get to facilitate and hopefully bring that same empowering flame out of others.”
Juanita has been working in social and mental health services for 5.5 years with CASL, first as a case manager, then as the Team Lead for Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH), where she oversaw the homeless outreach and SOAR (SSI/SSDI, Outreach, Access, and Recovery) programs, before moving to her current role in training. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida Tampa.
Juanita completed her Everyone A Leader® Facilitator certification training in May of 2025.
