Aaron Reynolds

Engagement Coordinator, Johnson County Mental Health Center

Aaron coordinates and supports efforts to create a positive work experience for JCMHC employees. His focus is on fostering an employee experience that allows people to feel connected to their strengths, their co-workers, and the mission of the organization. His role supports JCMHC’s belief in everyone having opportunities to learn, change, lead, and grow. Prior to his current role, Aaron worked as a Vocational Counselor at JCMHC, supporting clients in their recovery journey by assisting them with their employment goals.

Aaron loves to learn, facilitate, and teach. In addition to EAL (Everyone a Leader), he is a certified instructor for Mental Health First Aid and ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training). He also co-facilitates Foundations, an internal training designed to help new staff connect with their personal talents and strengths. In the past, he has taught trainings related to secondary trauma and self-regulation. He has also been an instructor for Johnson County Government’s LEAP (Leadership Empowers All People) training.

Aaron has Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Business from the University of Missouri.
